How much does a website cost?
Once we understand the nature of your project, we will quote you a price for the work and stick with that quote. Your domain name, which you will generally purchase independently, will cost about $10 (USD) a year. Web hosting, through our web hosting provider or a host you choose independently, can cost as little as $5 (USD) a month for a small site, more for a website that uses a lot of bandwidth. The design and building of a website with features similar to our own -- a dozen or so HTML pages without a shopping cart or databases, and only a few (two to four) "digital" images per page -- will costs around $200 (USD) per page for the design layout, content placement, testing, uploading to your web host, search engine submission, and any adjustments needed during the first month of operation. Our page price assumes you will provide digital images and the text content for the website. We charge $20 per image for scanning your print photos and converting them into web-ready digital images. It also assumes that we will not need to do extensive custom graphic design work or assist you with text content development. Those services are available, and if needed, we can give you a bid for that work. Product catalogs and shopping carts are bid according to the scope of the project. We offer reasonably priced webmaster services, including site maintenance, addition or removal of web pages from the host server, and server operations reports. We provide these services on an hourly or per job bid basis:
Send us an email with your phone number (or ask for our toll-free number), and we will be happy to discuss your project and prepare a quote for the work you need.
